We are completely in love with the ice cream sandwich, so much so that we’re dedicating a whole blog post to it. It’s been such a big favourite at Trinity Kitchen (Leeds) that we’ve now, as well as the original chocolate brownie sandwich, got the delicious addition of the blondie ice cream sandwich (a white chocolate version of a brownie) and are experimenting with more cakey delights to sandwich our ice cream. Chocolate brownie with black treacle ice cream, bourbon vanilla or maybe even orange pavlova? Or what about a double white chocolate hit with a white chocolate and popcorn ice cream in between two plump blondies? Who knew that deciding on the combination of cake and ice cream could be such an arduous task…
