At NORTHERN BL°C, sustainability isn’t a buzzword or a badge. It’s a work-in-progress that sits alongside everything we do – from how we source ingredients, to how we make our ice cream, to how we look after our people and our planet. That’s why we’re committed to understanding our impact, being open about where we’re at, and taking steps to do better.

Our 2024–2025 Sustainability Report (our first ever!) shares a transparent look at our journey so far. It covers what we’ve already put in motion, so starting our carbon accounting journey, reducing waste, improving packaging, and growing our plant-based range. As well as the areas we know we still need to tackle and our plans going forward.

We’re not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be – but we are serious about building a more responsible business, setting clear targets, and holding ourselves accountable.

This is just the beginning. We’ve got big plans and plenty of work ahead – so consider this the first chapter of our sustainability journey.
